You can use the scenes in Sandbox as a setting for photos or videos.
You can record the scene whilst in Sandbox by tapping the camera icon in the top right-hand corner of the screen.
Sandbox will then display a preview of the picture in th bottom of the screen. To save the image to the device, you will need to tap on the preview and opt to save to the camera roll or to share the image.
To include people in your photos, open Life Scale and then ask someone to stand inside your scene.
Recording a Video
To create a video, tap the red video icon in the top right-hand corner of the screen. The button will turn green to show that video footage is being recorde.
To stop the recording, tap the video button again.
You can also record videos in life scale - don't forget to walk around to get a good angle.
This can be used for students to report directly from the scene!
When the video has been created, you will need to save it or share it from the preview displayed in the bottom of the screen.
You can change the Recording Resolution for you videos from the Settings menu.
Using a Green or Blue Screen
You can also combine using Sandbox and a green/blue screen App to create really striking photos or videos.
To do this, select the green or blue screen as the Background in the left-hand menu and then record a video or take a photo. Remember to save the photo or video from the preview displayed to then use in the green/blue screen app.
Top Tip - If you have someone featuring in your photo or video, make sure they are not wearing the same colour clothes as the background!
Also if you have lots of plants or foliage in the sandbox, use a blue screen.
