You are able to assign any of the resources that you find in Discovery Education to your student's accounts, along with a date that you would like the student to have viewed the resource or completed the activity.

A resource can either be assigned by clicking on the action menu in the title bar of the resource:

Or can be assigned from the right-hand menu on opening the resource:

You will have the option to add your own title and instructions

Then choose the class or pupils you would like to assign the resource to:

If you would like to only select the resource to a group of students rather than the whole class, highlight their class and then click Select Pupils to choose the individual students.

Enter the start date and end date for this assignment and confirm by clicking Assign

You are also able to create your own assignments for your students.
