When you are exploring Espresso there will be resources that you will want to save for future use. This is easy to do by using Add to My QuickList or Save to my Content.
QuickList
Saving resources to your QuickList provides quick access to resources for next-day teaching or for lesson planning.
The Quicklist is accessible from any page by opening the Profile Panel (click on the Profile avatar in the top right-hand corner of the screen)
QuickList is helpful for curating resources as you sort search through resources to compare or review later.
Resources added to the QuickList will remain until they are removed, even if you log out of Discovery Education.
To add a resources to your QuickList, simply select that option from the ellipsis menu next to the resource name. Or choose Add to QuickList from the main menu when the resource is opened.
To remove the resource from your QuickList, you can move it to My Channels, My Content, Share or move it to Studio for us, or simply remove from the QuickList.
Students also have their own QuickList which works in the same way.
Add to My Content
Teachers and students have My Content areas where resources can be collected, organised, shared and retrieved. My Content is accessed from the Global Nav menu on the left-hand side of the screen.
My content works just like the folder structure on your computer. You can create sub-folders to create hierarchies within content, year groups, topics or courses.
You can also choose to share resources with your school. Resources saved in the School Content area will be visible for all teachers within the school.
Within My Content or School Content, you can filter the resource type using the View By drop-down menu
New folders can be created by clicking on Add Folder:
You can also use the Actions menu to manage the resources within the folder, to share or assign them with students or teachers:
To save resources to My Content, simply select the option from the ellipsis menu next to the resource title, or from the main menu when the resource is opened.
You will then choose where to save the resource to.
