How can I ensure that our access to Discovery Education runs smoothly in school?

Like any other programme, to ensure that the Discovery Education platform can connect to our servers and update content, it will need to be allowed through the school network firewall.

if you are experiencing issues where pages are not loading properly, where videos are not playing, where you are logged on as someone else, or if you are stuck on one page, your school may have to add the urls or subdomains used by Discovery Education to your safe list or 'white list'.

Since all school networks are configured differently, it’s very difficult for us to provide generalised support with firewall issues. However, we would recommend that any url with the domain discoveryeducation.co.uk is added to the school's 'whitelist' or 'safe list' to ensure the devices can access all necessary elements of our programmes.
