Using Studio allows projects to be assigned to students so they can view, interact or edit a copy of the project.  This can be set as a homework task or used within the classroom with their peers.

Any project in Studio has the option to Share or Assign in the top right-hand corner of the screen.

Sharing Projects in Studio

If the project is to be worked on within class or without any deadline, you can use Share to allow your students to interact with the project.  Sharing a project allows multiple students to work on the same project.

The project can be shared with any students or classes within the school, and you are able to select whether they should be able to view, edit or copy the project.

The shared projects will then be visible in the Studio areas of the student or teacher page, saved in the Shared with me section.

Should the student then wish to edit or expand the project, they are able to create a copy which will then open an editable version in My Studio, by clicking on the ellipsis icon in the top right-hand corner.

Once completed, the students are able to share their projects with you for you to review by using the Share button at the top of the project.

Assigning Projects with Studio

If your project is to be set for homework, has activities for completion or you simply want to ensure that all your students have viewed the project, use Assign to add the project into the student's Assignments area.  Assigning a project will enable that student alone to complete or work on that project.

You will be given the option to add your own title and instructions.

Then choose the class or pupils you would like to assign the resource to.

If you would like to only select the resource to a group of students rather than the whole class, highlight their class and then click Select Pupils to choose the individual students.

Enter the start date and end date for this assignment and confirm by clicking Assign.

Within the Studio area, a teacher can also view all projects that have been assigned by opening the Assigned tab of the main menu.
