Time for Phonics, is a DfE validated, time-saving, activity-based phonics programme, covering Phases 1-5, that follows the Letters and Sounds progression and is available as part of an Espresso subscription. 

With proven results, our activity-based phonics lessons will engage children with learning to help them make rapid progress in reading. 

Our realistic, bite-sized lessons are ideal for those who are new to phonics or seeking fresh ideas and want to build their confidence and knowledge. With easy-to-follow lesson presentations that take you through the lessons, songs and games, decodable texts, on-demand phonics training, EYFS/KS2 and KS2 intervention programmes, assessments and online phonics games that will inspire you and make phonics enjoyable to teach and learn. 

The programme covers all the main grapheme-phoneme correspondences to ensure that children become confident and effective readers. Children are introduced to the high-frequency decodable and tricky words throughout the phases and with the opportunity to consolidate learning at both the end and beginning of each phase. The scheme progression provides pace and the chance to revisit, review, practise and apply knowledge.
