Overview

Wonde integrates with your school MIS system to automatically create, organise and maintain teacher, pupil and class register data in the Experience platform. 

We have partnered with Wonde to simplify the management of your user accounts and classes. Having the Wonde connection means you will not have to manually update  teacher, pupil and class details to facilitate access to your upgraded service - saving your school administration time.

MIS Data requirements

(Please note that if the below requirements are not met, the user accounts will not be created)

Teachers accounts

Below are the three key required fields for the teacher accounts to be created. These fields have to be populated in your MIS.

• First name
• Last name
• Work email address

The teacher work email address will be used to generate the teacher usernames to the Experience platform.

Pupil accounts

Below are some of the required fields for the pupil accounts to be created. These fields have to be populated in your MIS.

• First name
• Last name
• School email address (not required unless Google or Microsoft SSO is requested)
• Grade/ Year

Pupil usernames will be <<first initial>><<last name>> e.g. John Smith would be: jsmith
Please note that in the event of a duplicate record a random number may be added to the username e.g. jsmith24

Classes and class registers

Below are some of the required fields for the classes and class registers to be created. These fields have to be populated in your MIS.

• Class name
• Class ID
• Teacher ID (Wonde ID is used to keep it unique in our platform)
• Student ID (Wonde ID is used to keep it unique in our platform)

Wonde permission fields

Below is the list of permissions that the Discovery Education app is requesting via your Wonde portal. This information will be used to create your user accounts and classes. Wonde integrate with various MIS systems and the information required above is held in different fields by different schools. Although there are a number of fields listed below, we only use the information to create the fields listed above.
