Included in our Teacher Support resources is our research-based Spotlight on Strategies (SoS) Channel.

The SoS channel has been created by teachers for teachers and is designed to offer ways to incorporate digital media into the classroom in meaningful, effective and practical ways.

Split into different focus areas (Summarising; Discussion and debate; Note-taking and Presentation; Grammar and Vocabulary; Introducing topics and recording impressions) each strategy or activity combines digital resources with skills to develop the students' understanding and critical thinking skills.

Each strategy can be shared with colleagues, added to My Content or QuickList, downloaded and printed.
The preparation time (low is approximately 3 mins and high is approximately 5 minutes) and any materials required are listed clearly.
