Assigning content directly to students' accounts enables fast access to resources and allows teachers to track completion of learning.
On Espresso, students are free to browse and explore content, but teachers can also assign content to the students' accounts. This allows the student to navigate directly to the resources, and also means the teacher can also assign different activities to different students and track their completion.
To assign a resource, such as a video, image, audio, etc., look for the Assign option.
Depending on the location of the resource, you may need to click on an ellipsis icon or simply click an Assign button.
Select Assign and add any specific instructions that you wish to give the students. Then choose which students or classes to assign the activity to.
You can then choose the date that the assignment should appear in the students' accounts and the date that it should be completed by.
Your assignment will then be confirmed.
The students will be notified of any content assigned to them on the home page of their Discovery Education account and in their assignments page.
To find out more about keeping track of students assignments and work, see Manage Assignments.
